invoice price
where can i find the invoice price for the gx. I have tried to find it, and don't know if they (lexus) wants us to know. I would rather try to get it at that cost rather than sticker. I really want to try to get a gx with nav, and mark levinson, lexus link, wood and leather steering wheel and shifter. I do not want the third row seating.
please help

Wow
Wishful thinking at best. GX is a hot seller right now. I highly doubt you can get a price near invoice. The LX, which has been out since 1998, roughly the same, holds its price well. Lexus doesn't feel the need to discount all that much. GX, I don't think you can find one with those options set like that. If you have nav and levinson, you're gonna get a third row in my thinking. But yeah, invoice doesn't seem possible on the GX for a while. I was able to get my brand new 4Runner for invoice, but it's not as hot a seller as the GX. So maybe a fully loaded 4Runner Limited is in your range. Sorry to burst your bubble. But if you somehow get one so equipped, for invoice, do let me know!

Hmm
177MPH, NJ must be very different. Because here in Chicago dealers have lists that are becoming quite long, and most of them are going for pretty close to sticker from what I understand.

PBM317 -- Its not different in this part of NJ -- I have been waiting since October for my GX (ETA is 2/25) and so far all attempts at any discount from numerous dealers has gotten me nothing.

New Jersey
Ok, not to open up a can of worms here (this could go on for days) but in New Jersey it's possible to get a GX for very close to invoice price. It's also possible to get one in just a few weeks. I'm sorry if others have not been as fortunate. My wait time was 3 weeks from the time I placed the order. Bottom line (again) the GX is a great truck and anyone who's got one is a fortunate person, yes? Yes.

WHY would your wife hate the GX? I can't imagine, I love mine, my husband hardly gets a chance to drive it!
We got on the wait list for one December 23 and picked up exactly what I had put in for on February 1st. So the wait wasn't too bad. Paid MSRP, but my husband did get them to throw in the gold emblem package, it runs around $425. Made him feel he got something...although not much. We have one of the 2002 Thunderbird coupes and ordered it just as we wanted and it took 9 months to get it and we paid a little over MSRP. We are not in the habit of doing that, but just wanted both of these vehicles, usually my husband can get them down off of the MSRP by several thousand dollars, guess supply and demand controls most of the prices. But I do love my GX, it's wonderful!

My wife drives a 2002 BMW sedan that she loves. She been driving BMWs for about 10 years and just like the feel, ride, etc. She does not like the step up into the GX. She also feels it is just too big and tall. Does not like the $30 gas station visits.
Does not matter, I love my GX and I still wash her BMW a couple of times a week. Guess 32 years of marriage allows for different taste in cars. BTW, I too like the the T-bird. Tried to buy her one for her birthday last year and we wound up with the new 5 BMW as a result. She just likes the Roundel product.

That's cool. Pretty car. My husband drives a huge diesel pick up, so guess it's the same difference. He does like my GX, but hates to admit to it! I'm like your wife, don't like great big vehicles, so never considered Navigator or LX, which is what my husband would have rather had, but like you say, it's whatever one gets used to and likes! Happy driving!
