Default Nice

I am impressed - with all that driving and all that snow - your GX is TOTALLY CLEAN. You are to be commended.

I took mine out for a spin (no pun) in the 24+" in NYC and as you said, it was a blast. But it sure got dirty.

All nice picks, looks as if the GX should be in snow all year.

He was driving in fresh powder no salt, NYC they have to drop salt to many cars monday my truck was clean, today tuesday it is covered in salt

Remember I drove through the storm. Before they had a chance to even get sand and salt on the ground. When it's snowing I am also very careful to not get the front windshield heated up. I keep the front defroster off. This allows the snow to float over a colder windshield and requires no maintenance as nothing sticks.

Today if you look at the truck it's very dirty as they had plenty of time to coat the roads. Plus I have to be close to empty on the windshield wiper fluid :-)

Default Road trip?

Sounds like a perfect excuse for a road trip...you can probably find every imaginable climate condition on your drive up the coast!

Default Dumb question but....

Your truck looks more like the meridian blue than the ash blue. Maybe it's the surrounding snow?

Default and by the way...be careful!

I had my GX out in the snow in New Jersey and almost got stuck twice. Be careful - it's not going to get you out of everything. I had to lock the diff to get me out of some real slushy stuff and even then it took a good 15-20 seconds of sliding before she started to get moving. Yes, I know how to drive in snow... no I wasnt trying to get it stuck...yes I was on a road and not in the dirt.

The ash does have a darkness to it. In sunlight it looks much different then in darker conditions.

Turn the VSC off cause I did what you did once or twice, the spots you really get stuck in are where the plow trucks leave the heavy wet slush that is higher than your bumper and you need to keep moving to get through it

What part of Jersey are you from Im from Rockland

Be careful of the running boards too. I wonder how much abuse they can take before begining to bend/break.

With all of this snow bank jumping, I did notice a black panel near the left wheel well, which seams up against the bumper (It faces the ground), out of place. When I checked it, it was loaded with snow :-) I had to bend it back and tuck it under the bumper.

Minor issue we can all expect if we are filling snow behind the wheel wells :-)
