I took my two boys on a mountain ride this past weekend. I wasn't sure how they'd hold up being in a truck for several hours but they did fine and asked to do it again (4 & 7 yrs old). We drove the Montanan Mountain trail with 2 college buddies of mine and their kids. Good old school get-together! It wasn't very technical but quite rutted and bumpy in areas; I'm sure the path changes with storms/rain.

Pics above are my last weekend outing, the past few days so some different weather for my GX. I drove 3-4 hours through a snow storm and have to say the GX was as stable as any vehicle I've driven in that environment. Below is a pic of how it looked when I woke up Jan. 1 (Arizona White Mountains).

Nice pics, thanks for posting. looking forward to taking my kids out a bit like that. Haven't removed the running boards or changed wheels yet. It's coming just gonna take some time to make it happen.
