I would have someone watch your back up lights. If the nav goes on when your reversing there may be an intermittent problem with the back up switch. You could have someone watch your back up lights and then switch to reverse and then neutral then reverse. If the switch is going bad you will notice that the back up lights are intermittent as well.

Good to hear I'm not alone...bad to hear your having the same problem. did what was mentioned above by Mr. reverse lights good.. it's only happened a handful of times so don't know...I guess it's one of those wait and see things. Be sure to let me know if you come up with something. Thank's Mark

What year is your GX? There was a TSIB for the early models that replaced the camera in the tailgate with a different design camera. Happened to my 2004, replacing the camera fixed it & Its been trouble free now for many years. Let me know your model year & Ill try to locate that TSIB for you if it's an earlier model
