I am actually in the process of buying a 2006 GX 470 with 103k miles. I've done research on these vehicles, as much as I can find. It's a one owner, private seller with impeccable dealership records, every recommended service done including timing belt, brakes, alternator, etc. It barely has a scratch on it. Clean car fax. It's an opinion question, but as I approach the sale close I'm a bit nervous. Am I 'correct' in thinking I can get another 100-150k out of this vehicle if properly maintained?
Thanks in advance

YES YOU CAN GET ANOTHER 200,000 MILES ON IT!
I also have impeccable dealership records and impeccable appearance.
The GX470 will treat you well if you treat it as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have the receipt showing the timing belt work was done, there's absolutely no reason not to buy it.
Just keep up with the maintenance, and you'll have a long relationship together.
You should know about the common faults though - the transfer case can leak, the air suspension can leak, and the radiator typically needs replacing around 120k. Still worth owning, though. Toyota was at the top of their game when they built these vehicles.

Go for it! I did just this morning! Mine is an '06 with roughly 85K! I was a Landcruiser owner in the past and I wanted a bit better gas mileage and a tad smaller rig with the same engine, this one fit the bill! More so than the 4Runner with the V8. I am stoked to get out and use it!

I rolled the dice and bought it, thanks! It really is a beautiful vehicle!
FYI, all repairs verified including new suspension and timing belt. I'm extremely happy with it!

I did same, I bought an 05 with 103K on the clock. So far 15K trouble free miles added. I did have to do a bit to the suspension though, and get new tires. But it truly is beautiful car. Same color as yours too.
