I spoke too soon, I must've jinxed myself. My suspension air compressor gave up the ghost last week. I'm doing the metal tech coil spring conversion using FJ Cruiser springs and air-lift bags inside them. Can't comment on the ride, I don't have all my parts yet.
Edit; total cost for the conversion is around $450, including tax and shipping. I'm doing the work myself.

Bags are the same across the board, I think age has a lot to do with them failing, which is why the older trucks are going first. I would assume they've fixed the clunk by MY 07, but I cant answer for certain as I'm not sure when the bulletin came out. Either way, if you have the vin# you should be able to check the mylexus sight to see the warranty/maintenance history of the particular truck you're looking at.
