if it was all rolled up you need to give it some time to settle and straighten out, rubber has to follow the laws of rubber its got a bit of memory in it, if you remove the rear carpet it will likly sit better as well.
I bought all the mats for mine, well worth it to me. As you said, just roll the mat up when you use the rear seats. I have seen other people cut that mat and install the trim for the seats on top of the mat. Look below.
I'm reconsidering a rear cargo mat due to kids and wet dog. I never got one before as it seemed like it would be hard to install with the mounts for the third row seats. Thoughts? How easy is it to pull up the trim pieces? I don't mind making the cuts to the floor mat, just looking for any guidance prior to ordering. I don't use the cargo tiedowns so I'd theoretically only be making two cuts.
