Anyone use USASPEC BT45-TOY Bluetooth Adapter?

I've had to re-glue one of the plastic pegs on the center wood every time I remove them. The cars are getting old and the plastic is becoming brittle...
Use the gel-type superglue. You don't need much - just press firmly together after gluing for 10 minutes, and breath on it (the humidity from your breath makes it cure faster)

When you did your install, did you do anything special? I recently tried to install my kit and my touchscreen didnt work after I connected the module. Did you reset the module or something? Or is there something more that I need to do other than plug and play? I just sent USA SPEC tech support the same question. Maybe somene on here has had a similar experience. For now, this thing is just an expensive paperweight.

Interesting how simple it is to pull apart the dash panels, check youtube videos, when you see how it is done. If you have done it before you could take it back apart and get it together in 40 minutes tops. And if it works you are good to go.

I use the BT35 which works pretty good. It links up quickly but the volume is really low at onset and when you change to radio it is super loud. Be careful to lower the volume before switching to another source. I'm having trouble with the OEM radio head unit and thinking about upgrading to a double din with carplay and bluetooth. If anyone has a good recommendation, I'm all ears!

I have the USA - SPEC BT45 TOY adapter installed in my 2004 GX470.
It works perfectly, I like it a lot. Music is crystal clear.
Phone works very well, cuts music out on incoming and outgoing calls.
Voice is clear on phone calls for both parties.
Thumbs up for this adapter!

after a few months I noticed that it doesn’t reconnect automatically every time. About 30% of the time I need to reset my phone Bluetooth and manually reconnect. Other times it seems to struggle when 2 phones are in the car and will beep endlessly unless you turn off Bluetooth on one phone. Reset the whole thing and then I think it works.
the sound quality is great as should be expected with a digital interface and with basic sound systems.
I’m sure there are other options that work better in the ballpark of price.
edit: installed in my 2007 gx470 with factory Nav unit, with amplified speakers and aftermarket sub box in the back.

iSimple from Best Buy
I’m with MJ Import. I bought a similar unit at Best Buy for under $30 (iSimple Bluetooth Adapter). It doesn’t interfere with the factory system. The phone goes through the vehicle and the music streaming goes through the aux port. Simple and tidy.
