2004 GX470 belt moulding
Have any of you replaced the front right window belt moulding? If so, how do I remove the old moulding?
The upper strip on mine stated flapping and so I tore it off.

You're talking about the strip along to top edge of the door/bottom of the window? It's held on with plastic clips, pull/pry up and off. If you break clips, you can buy new from dealer. New belt molding may even come with new clips.

Probably best not to forget to remove the screw on the end of the moulding before you go yanking on it. Lots of youtube videos on this subject.

Like I said in the post, look at the others on the vehicle. The driver's door is likely gone or about to go too. If so, order the full set of four to save some money and have the others on-hand when they wear out.

Turns out you can get a full set of 6 in black for a Land Cruiser Prado and cheaper than getting 4 of the Lexus ones with chrome.
I'm just trying to find a legit Japan source, so many I see are from China.

Not sure what's involved in replacing the ones by the pop-out windows. There might be an interior strip of the cargo area required?
