Sad day for me. I got hit by a teenage driver the day before Thanksgiving. Insurance company told me today that my GX is totaled. bummer

Ouch!!! Hope no one was hurt.

If you have the time and space, buy the car back from the insurance company and remove all the good stuff, Seats, Panels, headlights, tail lights, mirrors, door panels, alternator, PS pump, seat belts, little plastic trim parts, etc. Then call a junk yard to haul off the remains. Sell the stuff or keep it as spares for the next gx.

Thanks for the concern, other than a lot of bumps and bruises, everyone is OK. Would have been much worse if I was driving a smaller car.

Great suggestion about buying the remains back from the insurance company, I'll give that a shot.
