Default Air Suspension Replacement DIY?

Are there any detailed DIY instructions / videos / documentation on how replace the Air bags for the rear suspension?

I have been searching but have not found any.

The rear suspension has been acting weird of late, it keeps dumping the air when parked. I mean it does not seem to slow leak but randomly dumps the air when parked. It does this sometimes as you turn off the car or hours later.

For example one day it was parked for about 4 hours and the suspension was still at the normal height, I went into the car to retrieve an item from the back seat, on entering the car I heard and felt the car lowering itself without being turned on.

So with the air being dumped more often now, I have to wait after I start the car for it to raise back to the normal height before driving.

I am not interested in replacing the air with springs. I just want to replace the air bags and keep it factory, hence the search for a DIY.

Thanks in advance

The hard part is removing the air hose on the top of the air spring. You have to reach it from inside the wheel well. Its on the top toward the outside. After you get that off you just let it deflate and pull out the existing air spring and replace it with the new one. Don't forget to deactivate the air suspension. I would remove the battery cables.

Do I need any tools to remove the air hose?

There is a lexus special tool to remove the air line, but i've heard of people having success using a soda can that is cut into the right shape.

I could not get the air hose off the top of the airbag. It was annoying. I wasn't planning on keeping the air stuff so I just snipped the line. Getting the clip off was easy. Sliding the hose/line off the top was not happening. But, I did not try that long.

I was able to get the driver side off using a plastic fuel line removal tool that I already had, but I was tired of fighting blindly and cut the passenger side. If I were to do it over again, I would simply cut both and be done with it.
