The new part # for the GX's Exhaust Tip is Toyota part # PTS18-89060. Its made by Valor Canada. I believe I have found a site that will sell this for 30 bucks PLUS shipping of about 10 bucks. So total is a few pennies below 40 dollars. Dont believe there is another source that will sell it this cheap. Will report back when I see the part.

I just got my Exhaust Tip for my GX 470. I am so pleased to see that the dealer i bought it from sent me the original/OEM Toyota part #PT18A-89090-EK. This is the actual Lexus part (the docs with the product states clearly that this is for a GX) that is put on GX's with the tip installed. I will highly urge all to beautify your GX with this real part. PLUS... I paid 40 bucks (including Fed Ex 3 day delivery - ordered on monday night and got the part at 8:45 am on Friday-awesome!!!). Plus its an awesome made part. heavy real steel. THANKS TOYOTA!!! Your quality is awesome!!!

PT18A-89090-EK is the new part number and the ORIGINAL TOYOTA part made specifically for the GX. This part number replaced PTS18-89040.

Bought it from Sparks Toyota, 4855 Highway 501, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. Their online store sells this part for 30 bucks plus 10 for shipping to a total of 40 bucks!!! Excellent service, product and delivery. The link to this product is:

Just notice that they will show that its a different part number. dont worry about that as 00016-89149 is their internal part number. so just order 00016-89149 and what you will get is the Original Toyota Chrome Tip.

That one in the photo isn't the Toyota exhaust tip, so of coarse it's cheaper.

The Toyota version does in fact make the truck at least 10% faster than the aftermarket version, plus it adds quite a bit of resale value to the GX!

Just messin' as it's an exhaust tip. Now if we were talking about valve caps, I'd go OE all the way!

Honestly, I just got mine off ebay. It's doublewalled and does clamp on. It was a TIGHT fit so I'm not worried about someone needed it more than I do. I think I paid about $25 as well. I understand wanting to stay OE for some people but it's just for looks and I'm pretty sure an aftermarket tip will not void warranty.

The piece was pretty heavy so if you go down to the local parts place, look for something that's put together pretty well.

This is what I have and it's built very well but the price seems off from what I paid...
