Default Picked up my new GX this weekend. Have a few questions

I got my new Ash Blue Mica w/ Ivory fully loaded GX470 on Saturday.

It does have the vibration in the 1700 RPM range, which I will be letting my dealer know about and hopefully Lexus will have a solution for very soon.

It does NOT have the transmission clunck that some seem to have,

HOWEVER it does have this weird very light, very fast vibration on the brake pedal. I notice it most when sitting at a traffic light with my foot on the brake pedal, it only lasts for about 5 seconds and then goes away. It does this often, anybody else have this or know what it is and if it's normal?

Besides that I love this vehicle. The M/L system just totally rocks. Transmission smooth as silk.

You should go asko your Lexus dealer. They should know what the problem is. So Good Luck in trying to get that vibration fixed.

I think you will find it is the Hill Assist Control (not Descent Control) kicking in. I seem to remeebr in the 740 plus pages of owner's manual it makes some reference to the type of vibration you are reporting. I have noticed ours doing it once on a slight incline.

Congratualtions on your new machine by the way (particlualry color combination!)

I am assuming you are talking about the light vibration in the brake pedal, not the vibration in the steering whewl while in the 1700 - 2100 RPM range.

I don't think it is the DAC, as it happens when the vehicle is fully stopped even on level ground. I will try to find where it says that is normal in the manual. I did talk to my service advisor about it and he said it is normal (the vibration in the brake pedal, not the steering wheel vibration)
