I simply cannot intake anymore meandering. All offerings have become convoluted. I must decide today. Should I pay more locally or trust the words of a national Volume Seller? I met him at the recent Atlanta Lexus drive event. His business card and oral introduction suggested him as a Volume Seller of Lexus products. Of course I approached him with caution and some disbelief. This is a new status to me, perhaps you too? After a little comforting conversation, he offered me over $4K off the MSRP of any Gx 470 and suggested "no waiting applies." Also, no fees apply. Club members, is this real and who can compare? My alternative you might ask... Well, I can wait several months for an upcoming gX, Lx or rX vehicle and more haggling after it arrives per my local stores intervention. Of course they do not yield such savings and rather retail pricing. I simply felt their monopolizing of the market tactic. Such local ploys aside, via the Volume Seller guy and his conference call to the Lexus franchise owner, "the vehicle is in stock" was suggested. Many colors too. I have also called this so called Volume Seller guy's faxed reference list. Several people were local acquaintances and to my fullest surprise. -They kept this all a secrete from me it seems! Clever acquaintances I possess, agree and laugh. Their secrete is 'out the bag,' as to say. Wow, my father needs to examine his sC 430, Ls 430 and other cost on his website. He too is in the market for a Lexus although a sC 430.
I will keep you posted on my purchase or you tell me if a savings beyond $4K exist somewhere. I do not mind shipping the best deal to me.
UPDATE 5/27/03: We have since made a purchase of the gX 470 and Sc 430. Concluding experiences are offered on page 2.

I found someone that would take 2k off sticker for an ordered GX. that was about 2 months ago; right before the GVWR recall. I had to cancel my order, but 3k off sticker seems realistic to me.

Brand New with my choice of options (NAV/ML, 3rd row), color. I do not think it is that unusual these days. It all depends upon demand and supply. Lately there have been a lot of supply in CA.

Did anybody bought a car from this guy? - please share your expirience. Is this guy trustworthy. Does he allow to chose and pick options and order the car directly from Lexus or does he have a big inventory and only offers cars from what he already has?
His prices are about 3k below MSRP but still about 3.5k over the invoce prices so I think there is some room left for negotians. Especially 2004 model year is comming very soon so some dealers should give additional discounts to get rid of their stock.
Where is he located and how much does he charge for shippment?

My father and I have since requested his faxable reference list. It is a long list and it seems the seller offers a longer list of west coast consumers. We were told to call for this list if necessary. Depending the region you reside, he seems established.
Merely investigate around like us, speak to one or two of the franchise owners or Fleet Managers, 'if allowed.' Shape your decision accordingly. This is what we performed and why we are inadvertently exhausted. Perhaps you can benefit from my investigations. Well, email me if I can help you more.

Kamily,
Again, I must congratulate yo guys on your purchase(s) You know, I still still have one burning question, How come! How can they (he) possibly do that?
Out of curiousity, ever thought about taking it to Lexus and have the service guys check it out??? Just a thought, to help ~clear~ my head.
But, nonetheless, I've got to hand it to you, GREAT JOB! Now you just need to post LOTS of pics.

Kamily,
Congrats and hope you enjoy it.
I am going to buy a RX330. It seems that you really got a good deal. I still somewhat bother me to buying a brand new car NOT from an authorized dealers.
How did you pay the car? finance? Does the car come with warranty?Do your local Lexus dealers will provide service to your car or provide you a loaner? How do you register your car?
Thanks!
