2009 GX VSC Problem
My wife was driving the GX this morning and she said that while sitting at a red light the Traction Control Light came on and started beeping. When she began to accelerate she said it was difficult to get going so I can only assume the VSC was activating.
Is a faulty speed sensor the only thing that would cause this? I'm leaning towards that because I just had the oil pain dropped at the dealer to flush the trans so maybe they knocked it loose or something?
Anyone had this issue or replaced a speed sensor DIY?
Thanks

Assuming no other lights came on, check the ABS sensors at each wheel position. You might be able to read a code for it (not sure).
This is because the TCS uses the ABS sensors to detect when a wheel has lost traction (spinning much faster than the other three).

Has the issue been resolved or Light is ON solid?
I have seen that light go on for me for at-least 20 times during my drive to work today.. Because of thick ice and snow after 15 inches yesterday... It will come ON when your car is slipping or trying to gain traction and you'll also feel & here ABS kicking in..
As YARDIE mentioned it could very well be Hill Start Assist Control.
