Rear Brake Bleeding - GX470 won't start
Hi guys, was bleeding the rears on my wife's 07 GX470 using the factory service guide (key on, brake depressed to run pump, etc.). All went well, master cylinder reservoir never went below the mid indicator. Then I went to start the vehicle to go bed new rotors/pads, but the car now won't start... just a "tic - tic - tic" over and over.
Troubleshooting done so far:
- Pulled the negative terminal on the battery, hit the brake ~20 times, but same issue when trying to start.
- Service manual indicates there may be a DTC associated with using this method? Getting a friend's code scanner to evaluate.
Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Yep. Battery.
I change mine every 3 years now, as I got tired of being stranded.

pretty sure you dont have to bleed them using that method unless you have replaced maser cylinder, etc. if there is no air introduced in the system, then push out the old stuff until you get new fluid
