Hello all. I've been reading up on replacing my 4 shocks on the vehicle and decided with the Bilstein 5100 series:
Front 24-239370 and rear 33-187174.
Upon receiving the shocks, the front seems to be longer that the stock fronts. The mechanic mentioned that at the bottom perch setting, the coils are too loose when put back.
So he set it up to maybe the third highest to tighten up the coils, but now the vehicle sits about 1.5 inches higher in the front. Not sure what to do. I thought the 5100s were a direct replacement. I also confirmed the part number on the Bilstein shock body to is the 24-239370 and its correct. Any ideas? Thanks.

Correct, I just finished putting these on yesterday for anybody that is still wondering. Also installed factory rims (re finished) with 265/70/17s. Put a 1" wheel spacer on as well. and there is no rubbing
