Red face Battery Options

I have a 2007 GX470, 143k on the clock. Has a stock type battery, and needs to be replaced.

I'm looking for suggestions on best battery to buy.

Thank you in advance.

Get a premium battery with good warranty. Compare amps. Remember you get what you pay for, especially in batteries.

I have used Sears Die hard platinum on GX which lasted 6 years with no single cranking issue. When time came, replaced with another diehard. They stopped selling platinum (longer warranty). But replaced with adv gold. Essentially the same but with less (3 yrs) warranty.

As above poster say, get what you pay for........

Optima batteries are good but very expensive. if your doing any offroading it will last longer.

I've had better luck with AGM batteries. I do light off roading and camping and they seem to last longer i.e. 5-6 years versus 4-5. I have purchased most of mine from advance auto, Walmart and sears. No real brand difference from my experience.

I just get the mid-grade battery from AutoZone and change it every 3 years.
