So I came across something very strange while doing the rear coil conversion on the wife's GX, I noticed the strap that supports the fuel tank is rusted through, as in supporting zero weight of the tank. The fuel tank skid appears to be filling in nicely, as we were completely unaware there was an issue prior to this recent work. Has anyone come across this on their trucks?

No rust in Texas. Sorry. I would certainly get it fixed though.
