Dilemma! What do I do?

The teenager's cell phone, and all the other cell phones in the hands of the many idiots on the road. A girl rolled a Jeep into the woods across the street from our house last weekend. Thankfully, she was okay but the Liberty wound up on its side, sandwiched in between two large oak trees. Turns out that prior to taking out a row of mailboxes and careening off an embankment into the swamp, she was messing with her phone, going too fast and around a blind turn. Also thankfully, there was no one walking a dog, taking a run or riding a bike (all of which me or my family do along there).
I have zero problem putting my 16 year old into a 13 year old GX with 200k miles either. Big, safe, reliable, and paid for. Checks all the boxes for me.

And as far as taking care of the car - OMG - she's almost obsessed with braking slow, and not speeding (yeah.... all learned from dad

What should I do? Spend the $3500 and hope the car goes another 3-4 yrs without any major issues (> $500 in repairs)?........... Is there something else that I should be aware of that could cost me $$$$ in the next 3-4 yrs?
Or should I just ditch it now and buy a used RX/NX... Highlander?

Need some advice on what to do:
- 06 GX 470, 183,000 mi., and in very good shape. Interior is in really great shape - almost looks brand new! Minor hail damage that can be fixed.
Took it for a routine service and dealer tells me that:
- rear shock/suspension air bags need to be replaced (ride has been very rough esp. over bumps): $1400
- Front CV boots are leaking and need to be replaced: $1000
- Timing belt/water pump, etc need to be replaced as part of 183k service: $1700
Total $4100 approx.
They're wiling to disc. to $3500.
Vehicle was appraised at $6800 last yr.
My 17 yr. old daughter started driving last yr and is using it as her car.
What should I do? Spend the $3500 and hope the car goes another 3-4 yrs without any major issues (> $500 in repairs)?........... Is there something else that I should be aware of that could cost me $$$$ in the next 3-4 yrs?

Pay the Dealership what it wants
Negotiate with the dealership for a discount
Find an indy and get a quote to see how much it actually costs
DIY the job
Or sell it to me for 3500
