Default 2007 with 125k or 2004 with 90k

I'm buying my first GX470 and was wondering which you guys would choose if looks and condition were the same but the years and miles were different as listed above. I've only driven the near Mint 04 and will be seeing and driving the 07 for the first time tomorrow. I'm planning on towing a 6000lb boat and trailer 2x a year and making it a daily driver half the time. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Default Lower miles

Or in 05 they gained 35hp, so maybe go that way, not sure

Compare the maintenance histories, but I would lean towards the 2007, because it'll have Bluetooth and variable valve timing.

The 07 may have the timing belt replaced while the 04 is likely required to have one done soon. 07 has upgraded engine with more up. 07 is also newer so ill lean toward the 07 instead.

Default How bout a 2005 4Runner V8 w 80k

The 2007 was beat on. I found a 2005 4runner that's like new for $7500. Guy needs to sell due to moving.

I'm test driving it tomorrow.

I need it to tow a 5000lbs boat / 1200lb tandem trailer in and out of our slip 2x a year 45 miles each way on flat land.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks for the help!

I like the look of the '04 470 but the 05 470 had more zip I'm wondering if the 4runner will be faster as well and I read it tows a bit more weight.

that 4Runner is awesome, owned an 05 Sport Edition V8 AWD (fulltime AWD). It's lighter than the GX so it has better grunt.

test the low range AWD since it is used it or loose it item.
