The vibration is now an option!
Its now known as a "Driver Hand Massager" or "DHM" that occurs between the 1700-1900 rpm range as this is the most common speed/rpm range when driving!
Provides a thorough massage throughout the upper torso in varying degrees!
Not available for the front seat passenger as yet.
To alleviate the "whining" they are buying the vehicle back!

It sounds like the kinetic suspension is more designed for off-roading and extreme road conditions. I wonder which set-up will have the smoothest ride as far as providing that smooth Lexus feel on normal day to day roads.
Any guesses?

I was feeling a bit ignorant about the ramifications of kinetic suspension, not having heard the exact term before - and knowing I'll have plenty of questions from GX prospective buyers. So I went to our Google buddies, and this is just one website offering some good insight. Hope this is useful to any others similarly in the dark: http://www.kinetic.au.com/techno.html

The new suspention is not going nor was intended to fix the vibration. i just picked up a new GX last week with a build date 8 months apart and guess what? Still vibrates like crazy, sooooooo they have not done anything to try cure these things on the assembly line. The ones that apparently do not vibrate are very few and far between. The new suspention is more to guard against roll overs when off roading so I have been told. These things are top heavy and if you head for the ditch drive the sob into the ditch you pull it out it will roll. the new suspention will also help with this problem. When they say they are working on a cure I think they are blowing smoke up the kazoo as how long does it take an engineer to find thre problem and a fix in this day in age? Have fun and keep it on its wheels.
