2004 GX Newby, maintenance items?
Hi Guys, Newby to this site. I recently purchased a 2004 GX 470. Nice clean car, low miles, 74,XXX. I am going to leave it down in Tucson AZ and would like to do some maintenance items while we are here in CA.
(Not so much because of the miles, but the years).
I think I am going to change out the Radiator, hoses, thermostat, Serpentine belt, Water pump. The timing belt, plugs, coils, etc. I have a very good independent mechanic to perform the needed work.
I don't mind spending some $ to make this as solid as possible.
I purchased the car from a Lexus dealer. They were high in the asking price, However, the car is very clean, 1 owner, all dealer serviced. They did a service after I bought it, , Brakes pads, turned the rotors, fluids, tires, battery, etc. They also replaced a rear suspension sensor, (maybe both as they look new). They also did the air bags (both) in the back.
Would you guys be kind enough to recommend the brand of parts I need? I need help with the radiator and the timing belt "kit".
Looks like an Aisin water pump kit, and a Denso radiator ?
Thanks in advanced,
B
