Default Suspension problem???

Hello,
My dad have a 2007 GX470 and I think he have the problem with the rear air ride suspension or some thing.
The rear height control air suspension always on the normal and I can't change it at all. Just can turn it off.
The real problem is the car now socked and bumping like you riding the hose.

Is there anything else I have to adjust?
Thank you

This topic is frequently covered.

One or both of the rear air bags has developed a leak and won't inflate. You can probably hear the air pump running all the time, trying to inflate it. This means you want to get this repaired soon. Because if you don't, the pump will burn out and easily double your repair cost.

Plan B would be to replace the rear air springs with ordinary coil springs. There are many posts about doing this.

Any consensus on which coil conversion kit is best -- MetalTech, Arnott, FJ Cruiser springs (moog)?

I would spray soapy water on the bags itself to see if there are any bubbles, if so that means there is a leak.

Depending on what you doing. I am lifted on Icon all around with 33" tires and love it.

No way to pull a fuse and save the compressor until you fit the system? Thanks

Are you a mechanic BTW? You seem to know a lot

Thank you everyone, here is some update with my problem.

1. When I jack the truck up, the airbag is not seating down but sucking up like the picture below. That mean it suck all the air out and empty inside. So I think the airbag is still good. If the airbag been leaked, they should be air in there right?

2. For the pump, I didn't hear it running at all. I measure the voltage at both connection on the pump, they both have close to 12V. Also, can anyone show me how to remove the air hose connection at the pump. Is there any tool need? I would like to remove it to see if the airbag pop?

3. What is the correct voltage supply for the height ride sensor? I measure around 5V

4. Also anyone know the part number for this cracked rubber part?

5. Is there anyway to test the height ride sensor?

Thank you very much

Hello everyone,
What do you call this part? Do you happen to have the part number for this?
Thank you

If both bags have sucked up like that, you can test them by starting the engine then turn the **** to High. The bags should inflate and poke through to see. You can test the height sensors the same way. Start engine with truck on level ground. Load up the rear with 2-3 adults or one big one . Within seconds the bags should inflate to level out the rear.

Hmm...odd. Can you peak up inside the accordion outer boot to see if the rubber bags are even there? From the pics you provided, it just looks very odd that the bottom of the bags (where they contact the axle) are not visible.

I just took one of the airbag out and there is no air inside (vacuum it completely) but for got to take a picture of it.
After that I used air compressor to pump air to them and there is no leak on both the airbag and the line.
The switch still not respond yet
