Default Problem with adjusting mirrors.

I have a 2004 GX470 and I noticed today that my mirror switch located next to the instrument cluster dimmer switch can move the mirrors up and down but not side to side for both mirrors. I recently had the suv in the shop to get brakes done and they unplugged the battery...is Theo a reset for the mirrors like for the sunroof and windows? I’m thinking it’s the mirror switch itself? Anybody else ever had this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I had this problem also. I think it’s because they don’t get adjusted very often. Very gently push the mirror while using the switch. If you can get it started it will begin working again. I have no idea if they need a reset after disconnecting the battery.
