Wet Sanding Hazy Headlights

Just thought I would share what you can do in an afternoon to some old hazy headlights with some 3000 and 5000 grit wet sanding. I hit them with the orbital and some compound after that.

I’ve used the 3M kit with great success. Takes about 30 minutes for 2 headlights. You can use a drill instead of hand sanding. The key is to seal them up when finished. Otherwise the lights go back to hazy yellow in about 3 months.

This stuff is supposed to work well to seal them and prevent future clouding. I haven't used it myself but plan to one day.

I sprayed some headlights with 2K about 2 years ago they still look the same we'll see how it holds up going forward. The car is always parked outdoors. This is an easier and effective solution
