New to the Lexus brand and this forum. I was 4 runner shopping with no luck and stumbled onto a 2004 Lexus gx470. My wife says I’m acting like a teen age boy always wanting to upgrade and improve it. I am going to ask a couple of questions and if they’ve been answered just lead me to the post. I want to upgrade the radio/ nav system and looks like a challenge. I found a couple of things one would be a module behind the dash and require cell data hot spots etc. seems like pain so more research and I found this adapter. I really want to keep a stock looking Lexus radio but with Bluetooth has anyone figured a way that will work for a 2004 to go to a newer Lexus Bluetooth single din unit? If so let me know what worked. Here is what I found. Thanks for the help. I’ve got a few more questions but I’ll post separate thanks

Here's what I use: USA-Spec Bluetooth
It's a hidden module that plugs in between the stock head unit and stock CD changer. Streams Bluetooth audio and you can change tracks using the steering wheel controls. Song title and artist show up on the Nav screen. It's the cleanest way to get streaming Bluetooth audio on a GX with nav that I know of. It includes a mic and supports hands free phone calls as well.
