a tire skidding warning light
the check engine (check VSC) light came on, I ran the code and it was a loose gas cap...but at the same time, there is a skidding tires light on..manual says it's a "slip indicator" Why would that be on?

The evap-related codes will typically illuminate additional lights. Replace the gas cap, drive it for a few days to let the system re-learn, and see if the light(s) go away.
If it doesn't go away, start looking at stuff like ABS sensors.
