Has any one changed the light color wood for the dark or charcoal color wood that comes standard on the KDSS Sport model?

 

I would if I found it all for cheap enough! I miss my Sport.

The steering wheel is also different, but there are also aftermarket black options and that is easy to swap.

 

I for got about the steering wheel but I could live with that small amount if I could change out the rest.

Wow that is great you wouldn't happen to know where to get the charcoal dash trim?

The wood trim is horrifically expensive from Lexus. It's hard enough to find a GX470 in a junkyard, let alone a Sport -- what a lot of people seem to do is vinyl wrap the brown wood to black. If you do find a good source for Sport trim pieces, let me know, haha.

Edit: The trim to the left and right of the stereo are gray plastic on the Sport models - those are relatively affordable from Lexus.

 

Just sand it and spray it...thats what I did and it looks factory...rewrap steering wheel or replace w a new one.
