Default New Jersey to Grand Canyon/Vegas road trip

Changed my oil last week or 3,000 miles .
heading home tomorrow another 3 000 miles.
I'm thinking I should be ok to get back even though the oil will have 7,000 in the end.
let me add that this is an 2007 gx470 with 122,000 miles , and 15,000 on a full rebuild.
oil has been changed 5 times since my rebuild.
feedback welcomed.

7K shouldn't be an issue. Plus, most of it will be highway miles, which is better than a lot of stop-and-go.

Should be fine - make sure your level is still good.

May I ask what caused the need for a rebuild? These motors are generally very stout.

whoever owned it before me overheated it to the point that the temperature sensor was melted .
we still have the block .
I flew in a new block in from Japan to have it rebuilt .
I bought it for 13,900 plus the cost of the rebuild .
only 105,000 on it last year and 125,000 now with less than 20, 000 on a full rebuild .
went through a warranty issue about the overheating and nothing.
they had a bottle of bars leak in it to hide it.
really a bad year when that happened .
just got back and all went well.
even the huge mountains weren't an issue at all.
