2004 will not start
Just got the call from my better half. Said our2004 will not start. Lights come on, key turns but no noise or clicking from starter. I can’t leave work now but would like thoughts for when I get home
yesterday I opened air filter box and inspected closed box. I did drive after this.
I was going to get her to do an imobilzer reset but the key would not turn the lock in the door.
i also took the spare key fob box apart and replaced screw in it. This is the key my wife first used, I asked her to try mine but no luck
i then had her take off the small box by gear selector and put in nuetral back to park. No luck there
i think the keys we have are not original because I could not lock glove box and asked the guy I bought it from. He said he thought the ignition starter was replaced and maybe matched keys to it.
Any thoughts? Battery maybe / hopefully

Pole Position
If the keys turn in the ignition, but won't open the door or the glovebox, the ignition switch has been replaced by a previous owner along with the keys.
If the red "lock" light doesn't go out, the immobilizer computer isn't recognizing the chip in the key module.
If the immobilizer light does go out, and the key turns, then check the battery voltage, the starter (located inside the "V" of the engine under the intake manifold), and the master fusible link in the engine fusebox.
