Default New GX owner, factory all season mats?

Hey guys! Just picked up a new winter ride, 08 GX470, 100k miles but full service history (57 service records, all at Lexus dealer) with the belt done so feel like I can get a lot more out of her.
Obv love to tinker with my rides, but first things are the mats. I know Weathertech has their options, but I like the factory look. Checked a couple places online as well as FleaBay, nada. Anyone know where someone could pick up a full set, cargo bag included?

I don't recall ever seeing any for sale. The Weathertech are good, but I don't like how slick they are.

Exactly! I hate how if it's wet I'm constantly slipping on Weathertechs. I have factory all season mats in my RX and they are perfect.

Our 08GX came with the factory all weather floor mats. They are really heavy with deep grooves, however made of soft rubber. My heel dug a hole on the driver's side so we replace it with weathertech which is a big step up. The weathertech is so much easier to clean, has the raise lip around them keeping the dirt away from the carpet, I don't even take it off any more. It is made of better material and it has one piece mat for the second row that covers the hump.

You don't find that getting in when it's raining your feet slip around? Had a bad experience once with Weathertechs in an S Class where I was running into the car in the rain and a slip caused $4k of damage to the center stack!

It doesn't have the deep grooves compared to the Lexus OEM but never really find it slippery.

I'm a big fan of the Weathertechs in our GX, but if you don't like them take a look at Husky Liners. They came in our 5th gen 4Runner and I've been pretty impressed with them as well.

FWIW, I've never found the Weathertechs to be slippery when wet either.

Just my 2 cents:

We have bought these for our RX350 and ES350, and really like them. FindWay

They clean up amazingly easy with the garden hose. We just purchased a GX this past weekend, and I plan to order a set for it as well.

Do you think the husky liners for the 4runner could be cut to fit the gx470?

Weather tech also makes a custom mat similar to the OEM ones, all weather mats vs the liners referred to above. I believe they may be model specific and require no cutting...but I’m not 100% sure. I have had the liners in multiple cars for many years, I have never slipped on them.

I got a pair of these Lund mats and they are super nice. Not as industrial as the Weathertech but contain water extremely well and look "classier".

I'm seeing more and more cars with these mats....I'm tempted for our new GX, given the price for a full set. They're $120 on Amazon. I have WeatherTech on my 4runner and fitment is not exact, I've debated calling them for a new set.

I’m all four the Weathertechs. This is my fourth vehicle that has them. I live in Oregon and have never had any slip issues at all.
