Radiator Leak
Hello All,
Dealership is currently replacing my timing belt and just called with the below picture. Apparently my radiator is leaking. They said it needs to be replaced. The cost for the replacement is $332. Labor is free since they are in there doing the timing belt.
Should I replace it? I don't notice any issues.

I've never heard of a hose blowing on a GX. Which isn't to say it doesn't happen .. just that I don't think they're as failure prone as the old days, when the service station would have 100 of them hanging in the service bay ready to install on your Plymouth.

Do it, unless you can do it yourself (and soon). That $332 is a really good price, especially if it’s an OEM price.
You can get a Denso radiator for $150. Even though I just did this job a couple of weeks ago and could easily do it again now (since it’s still fresh in my mind) I would still be inclined to pay the dealer and save myself the time and hassle.
