03 gx470 rear suspension air compressor
I am hearing the air compressor from the rear shocks running randomly. It seems like it may be indicating an air leak in the bags. So I have a few questions:
1) is this a common problem
2) is there anyone who has removed their air suspension that has any wisdom as to cost, level of difficulty and suggestions on brands to go with?
3) if I wanted to do a lift, is now the time to do it or could I swap out the air system now and use the same parts with a lift?
sorry if these are basic questions, I don’t have a lot of experience with these things.

1. Very common, at the age of the GX470 now
2. Lots. Do a search.
3. Either way that you want. The stock air suspension will only work with a lift so far though (1"? 1.5"??)
