Default Steering wobble

my steering wobble issue has gotten progressively worse. I have new front struts coming soon, (because those need changed). But I don’t think that is causing my wobble. A side to side involuntary moving of wheel even at very slow speeds. Ball joints possibly? Wheel bearings, I have not had a chance to raise vehicle and manually check wheels. Plan to take in to shop soon. It’s not a primary driver.

Could it be rack and pinion? Any feedback as always greatly appreciated. Oh and it’s an 06 with 194k miles.

Slow speed shimmy is usually a tire issue.
You could rotate the tires front to back and see it it changes anything.
Any suspension check will mostly require the vehicle being lifted.

Jack the front end up and shake the tires from side to side (if there's play this would indicate tie rod play), and up and down (if there's play here it would indicate ball joint play). If everything is tight there, rotate the tires so the fronts are on the rear and see if the symptoms change.

I had a bad shimmy in the steering between 60 and 70 mph. Turned out to be slipped belt in the Dunlop on the left front. Replaced all 4 with Michelin Defenders. After 5k miles very smooth, no steering wheel shake.
