MrJason,

I installed the LEDs yesterday. But I think it does not look as bright as yours. Is there something wrong? I just plugged them in and did nothing else. Is there anything to do apart from plug them in? Here is the image. Haven't checked them on the road yet. The distance to the wall is about a 2 line driveway.

Led bulbs generally point low... I’ve done 4 different cars and they all needed to be raised a decent amount.
I have a “hella beam setter”... but you can do the old garage door method. Just pitch the angle so you can go higher.... meaning raise the passenger side 1/4 turn higher than the drivers side.

Also... are the headlight lenses foggy from age?

Not foggy at the moment. I buffed and polished them.
Thank you. Will try to aim the headlights right. Will need to search youtube on "how to"

Its pretty much the same for all cars.
-wait till dark..
-park about 15ft from the garage door...
-take the beam up about 6” s on the drivers side and 9”s on the passenger side.

Youll know if you went to high because because people will start flashing you. Lol

Thank you. I'll need to find a good flat place to adjust the beam. Not very easy here I wan to do it properly, so I won't blind oncoming traffic.

If you aim them so they hit the base of the rear windshield of cars in front of you, that will get you pretty close. As long as you aren't hitting the side mirrors of cars in front of you, you should be good. Aim them as high as you can without being too high, lol.

Wow, thank you guys for the super informative thread. Getting into my GX now and my looking to upgrade my lights. Decided on going with the LEDS at 10k lumens (6500K cool white). Also on the hunt for some brighter fog lights. Do people usually go with LEDS or halogen on fogs?

Any recommendations you guys may have? With pics would be awesome!
