Sure.... It was for the same thing. I purchased the cable and Techstream software about 6-8 years ago, I can't recall ATM how long it has been. It was actually for my Dell laptop Running Vista at the time. FF to this year, when I found the darn cable and reached out to the eBay vendor within the link. Purchased his S.W. It linked up to the old cable and the rest is history.

If you'd like, I can get a quick picture of the cable itself, that way you can get an idea.

This is the cable in question. I think, as long as it has "Mini-VCI" and "J2534" You should be okay, again as long as you have the SW purchased(Whether from said vendor, or someone else).

I also, with my purchase had him install it via remote access. I know that's almost frowned upon due to privacy and whatnot but I watched every step of the process. He did not touch anything he wasn't supposed to.
Just a thought/my 2 cents.
