Squeaking Noise Below drivers seat
Recently, I bought Lexus GX 470 2005 from a dealer with 160,000 miles on it. The second day of purchase, I noticed, screeching, squeaking noise coming underneath the car right below the driver foot area. It only comes whenever there is a bump or car body moves sideways. After inspecting the bottom of the car, I noticed that it can be reproduced around the body mount area where there is a bad rust. I'm trying to find a place where they can diagnose it properly. My bet is that the rust is causing it and if I can get that fixed, probably with the help of mechanic who also welds metal, it should go away. Otherwise, changing a body mount might fix it too. But I'm not sure, and I'm new to this. I am reading forums and trying to relate with my problem. I live in Indiana. Is there someone who can help me out with it in Indiana. So far, I took it to 2 mechanics but they don't do body mounts or welding. I'm not even sure if this is the reason or not for that noise. If the road is smooth and straight then you don't hear any noise.
