2006 in Ash Blue Mica over Gray

I just did all of that too. That stack of parts took about 6hrs in my garage.
I gained 0 mpg from doing all of it(plugs, t-belt kit, pcv valve, leds everywhere except the blinkers, and all the fluids... including brake, coolant, p/s w/ new reservoir, and an evac&recharge).
But she runs smooth now. I also put an AFE intake system in... but it looks like I may need a driveline soon... had the “clunk” occur today.

Next up: lighting. Since the lenses are now clear, it was time to upgrade the tired, yellow (original?) headlight bulbs.
Since this GX will rarely see any off-road activity (if ever) for the foreseeable future, I went with LED lows. Amazon comes through again.

Original bulbs
Passenger LED installed
Both lows in

Did you have to adjust the Beam on the LEDs ?

That's exactly why I asked. I clicked on the Amazon link you provided and saw that you could. I have been looking at upgrading my originals and this seems like a great option. I also liked the pictures you posted so, I might pull the trigger and for less than 100, you can't beat it. Thanks for the quick reply/post.

This is what I got on my GX. Bought a pair on Amazon during a lightning deal for around $76.
Just a variety of options for you if it helps. I just think I'll need to aim my beams a little bit up, although the surface the car standing on is not straight. But you can still judge the brightness of the LEDs. Still under $100.

I didn't purchase those resistors. The bulbs have been working fine without them.
The instructions that come with the bulbs said to orient the wire at the 6 o'clock position when installed. I did that, plugged in the harness, and tested to make sure the bulb powered on with the headlight switch.
The polarity matters, so I had to flip the passenger connector since I got it wrong the first time (it's a 50/50 chance!). I got lucky on the driver side polarity and didn't even have to remove the battery to change that one out. Very easy job.
Now I need to upgrade to LED fog light bulbs since as you can see in the pics, the light looked fairly white coming out of the new fog light bulbs I bought when the old headlights were in, but with the higher color temperature of the headlight bulbs the fogs now look yellow.

I have a number of updates to get through which have already happened. As mentioned in another thread, I was referred the name of a guy who does headlight reconditioning for $30/car including his own formula of clear coat. He did my GX and my wife's Accord DD. Once I've addressed everything I can/want to for now with the GX, it will become her DD and my occasional loaner to drag my other cars around.
Here are before and after pics of the passenger light. Bonus points for identifying one or both cars in the reflection on the bumper.

I think the black car is 6th gen Celica. The while one is Lexus SC or A Toyota Soarer. Am I right?

Appreciate your diy/instructions.
Yeah, I can totally see that.. Mine however have been working just fine, until I removed the battery in order to replace my plugs, Last month, I think it was. Ever since then, they have not worked. I checked all the necessary fuses/replaced bulbs, and still nothing.. At least you sir, have Yellow Fogs lol
Thanks again.
