Default 2004 GX Found this part. No clue where it goes

Hi everyone I found this plastic piece in the engine bay of my new to me 2004. It was on passenger side but I’m not sure where it goes. Can anyone help in identifying this or tell me where it belongs? TIA.

Just opened my hood and didn't find anything that was covered by this plastic piece there. No idea, sorry.

Was it attached, or just laying loose in the engine bay when you found it?

Loose in engine bay. The lady who had this before me didn’t really take care of it

I'll try to check mine when I get back home. In the meantime, check to see if there is a part number and Google it to see where it fits/goes.

That's what I came back here to say, look for a part # on it, if it's Toyota it should be there somewhere.

What he said ^ .. Sorry I haven't been able to get under there, but I'll try this afternoon. Worse case scenario, It doesn't even go to the Lexus. People whom are careless will do just about anything in life to make their life easier, not realizing the damage they could be causing.. Let's not hope that is the case though, and I'm just talking out of my behind, as I have yet to have my first cup of coffee. ( 7:15am here)
