Default Weird noise coming from behind the dash/center area.

Weird sound behind the dash/radio. Anyone knows what it is and how to fix it?
Searched GXPR group, there was one post with a weird sound, but that had some type of squeaky noise. Mine does not have that. Just a weird noise and quite loud when it's quiet. The noise happens with the engine on/off(when a key is half way turned. The AC blows as usual and modes work as usual. Changing AC modes does not affect the noise.
At mid AC position the AC covers the noise. But before the mid position, I can still hear the noise.

Thank you.

LOL (Not laughing at you but, more along the lines of with you). That is the same exact noise I am experiencing. Although it's been like this for almost a year. Thought about replacing the Air Temp sensor, but haven't done so:

I'll see if I can find the video I took of mine doing the exact same ting a few months ago.

Okay so I wasn't sure how to post a video from my phone to this site, so I just Made a YouTube account for it. The video will finish uploading from my phone to YT in about 3-5 minutes, it states. After that, I'll post it, to see if it's the same noise you're experiencing, although to me, it sounds identical.Edit: Here it is, you let me know if it's the same noise or not.

😁
I found that this could cause by a bad AC servor. I started testing modes in AC. If I set my AC to head only, the noise disappears, if I set it to head and feet the noise appears, if I set to feet or feet+defrost only the noise lasts for about 5 seconds and then disappears.
There might be a problem with AC servor that controls head+feet mode. But I have no idea how to locate that one. I also heard that it is not easy job to replace the servor.
Have you tested the modes while listening to the noise?
Hopefully, I will locate the bad servor, the part number and a good guide on how to replace it.
The temp sensor you referring to is not the servor, right?

Good, at least we're on the same page. And yeah, we need to find a solution.

Like that thread says, you don't have to buy new servos just clean them. All 4 servos for my 02 GS300 are over $1000 just for parts and its at least double that with labor so if you can DIY try cleaning them
