Hello. I have read a lot over the years on this forum and have appreciated the information.
I'm in need of a little help with a mass air flow sensor and codes P0101, P0172 and P0175 on a 2008 Lexus GX. I looked pretty hard for a vacuum leak and the air filter is relatively clean. So, I replaced the MAF, but still getting the same codes which indicate MAF and fuel mixture too rich. I read a lot of advice about only using a Denso MAF. I bought from Rockauto - they don't show a Denso for that model. They indicate an Hitachi as the OE. That's that I bought. Is the Hitachi the correct (best) part? Could I still have a MAF issue, or should I look harder in a different direction?
One note that may or may not relate - about 6 or 8 months ago, the GX set codes for the SAIS system. I installed the Hewitt-Tech bypass system. It seems to have worked - no lights for months. I'm assuming my current issue is unrelated, but if others have a different thought on that, I would appreciate it.
Any input appreciated!
