Default Mark Levinson Speaker help

Hello all! I have a 2005 GX with nav and the ML system in it and can’t find a definitive answer or solution to replacing all the speakers in it. I took it to an audio shop and the guy said he can put in some alpine speakers for all the doors and make it work but I’m not sure he understands the picky ML system. Is there a definitive set of speakers I can put in without messing up the amp and have better sound (not half volume because of different ohms or any of that). I’m not good with wiring or understanding all of that and am wondering if any of you have done this yet with your GX with nav.

I am sure there are a few threads on here which talk about getting either aftermarket units/speakers or getting repair kits for the "Blown" oem speakers. Now with that being said, if you are going with aftermarket units, Make sure you get 8 ohm speakers, compatible with the ML system. Although some have said that 4 ohms has worked in the past (Without turning the sound too loud of course).

Crutchfield is a great place/website to start as well. Good Luck!! I'll see if I can try to help find said threads, but try searching for, "8 ohms"
