Talking Night Time Setting for Nav System

OK...I am sure everyone else already knows this....but, in case there are a few like me that are slow to get it....

Does everyone know there is a night time setting for the Nav System. It is really cool! For those who don't know...turn the dash board light brightness dial (located to the lower left of the steering wheel) down one notch. At night, when you turn on your lights, the Nav system fades to a black map background with neon colored roads, water, street names, etc. Very nice feature!!!!

Mine switch to the Neon mode when the lights comes on (not the day time running light, the regular head light). I have my light setting on 'Auto'.

Yep but if your gauge intensity rheostat isn't set right under the first detent, the map will not invert. When we got our GX the rheostat was in the wrong position... we were wondering how people could drive with the map as bright as it was. Then we figured out the map could invert, and we were too cool!

Default and even more fun

For those of you with a Valentine 1, the Nav screen tends to set off a flase laser alert in either day or night mode.
