Default new owner of a nice blue Texas GX!

Was looking for a nice GX but the ones up here in NH didn't look that great so decided to buy one from Texas and have it shipped to NH. It arrived this week and looks great- I swear the undercarriage looks cleaner than some of the newer vehicles that sit on lots in the Northeast! Mine is a 2006 with 143000 miles and is super super clean all around. I even have the Lexus service records showing dealer service from day 1. I may have overpaid at 12K plus 700 for shipping but after looking at it I felt like I did OK and happy with the purchase. I was also able to sell my 04 4Runner with V8 and 212K on the clock for 4500 (sold in two days on Craigslist) this same week as the new GX arrived! Big upgrade as far as I am concerned- drove to work first time today and love it! I can't wait to hook up the boat and see how it tows with the air suspension and looks with the matching color!

Looks good. Mind if I ask who you used to arrange for shipping, etc. Thinking about this if I ever have to give up my 04 GX. Bought mine in Virginia and spend all of my time under it with Fluid Film or Wool Wax....

I bought the GX from United Auto Group in Dallas TX. They seem to know this vehicle pretty well and buy a lot of them to sell. The salesman (Sean) quoted me 700 bucks to ship it to my door in NH and I didn't have to do anything. They took care of it. They used Brothers Auto Transport. There are a ton of transport companies out there but it was great not have to deal with any of them and just have the dealer arrange it. When the car didn't arrive on Monday as Sean stated it would he provided me with the phone number of the transport company and the driver answered and told me it would be coming the following day which it did. it was on the top of the carrier and the driver stopped on the road in front of my house and unloaded it and we inspected together and I signed off.
