I have an 06 GX470 and trying to get the tow package setup for hauling some quads. Looks like the electrical is already run and even a spot to bolt up a reciever is there but wanted a second opinion before towing a few thousand pounds behind this truck.

Should I replace this piece, add too it? Anyone have part numbers for recommendations?

Appears to be bolted to the Frame and has 6 female spots for bolting up a reciever.

 

For towing a few thousand pounds, I'd want one of the frame mounted receiver hitches, and they don't mount to that part you've pictured anyways.

Uhaul part # 78445 should do the trick.
