best after market GPS for my Lexus GX470 2009
Hello,
I am looking for a best after market GPS / Music system for my 2009 Lexus GX 470.
I saw some at Visions Electronics and want some advice from the members here in this forum.
As the GPS is old, i want to change it, apart from older GPS every thing in my truck is perfect.
Please advice which GPS to get. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Google constantly updates the maps. The software is updated regularly. Grand total I pay to Google maps? $0. Cell service I am paying for anyhow. Have to have a phone anyhow. So zero extra cost for a fantastic nav device which provides real time traffic updates and speed trap info.
I also happen to be a private pilot. I could spend $1000s on a GPS system in the plane. What do I use? A 6 year old samsung tablet with Garmin software on it. While aviation nav is a bit different, some of the same principles apply.
Just use a phone mount. Get a Bluetooth dongle of some type for the factory stereo. Toss the phone mount in the glovebox. 95% of the time you likely don't need it.
Enjoy.

Sounds like you've got a factory nav truck, have you looked into all that's required to install an aftermarket head unit? Start there, and make sure you're willing to incur the cost on top of the cost of a new stereo before proceeding.
I went with a Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX, it has wireless (and wired) Carplay and Android Auto, so you can use apps off your phone on the stereo display, works great!
