I have an 04 with a decent amount of rust on it but it appears it hasn’t rusted “through” the frame with the exception of a silver dollar sized hole in one spot.

Im thinking about using Corroseal on it. The product claims to “Corroseal Rust Converter converts rust (iron oxide) into a stable substance, magnetite.”

does anyone have experience with this product? Is there any reason to believe this chemical reaction might weaken the integrity of the frame?
