Im looking into buying an exhaust for my GX but the GX cat backs are way more expensive and way less common so if anyone knows that would be a big help

Drone is caused by the exhaust "exciting" surrounding components that re-transmit and even amplify this noise at specific frequencies... into the body shell ... etc. So it is important that any cat-back system be frequency tuned to each specific application ... which means increased cost. Many manufacturers do not invest this extra engineering effort ... hence the lower cost. If you want loud ... that's easy ... if you want something consistent with a Lexus ... but with an appropriate level of attitude ... best to directly experience (if possible) before purchasing.
