Default 2006 GX air springs - not calibrated

I’ve got about 130k miles. The height control works fine going from low, to high. I also don’t have the compressor going on and off randomly suggesting I don’t have a leak.

however, I was measuring the height from the floor to the bottom of the back panel and on the drivers side it’s 35”, whereas on the passenger it’s 35.75”.

is this a sensor issue?

In the spring I plan on replacing the rear shocks as they are leaking. Could that be a culprit of the difference?

Shocks don’t control height, they just absorb shock, springs maintain height. You can’t use the floor as a reference point...usually center of wheel to a suspension component...the method is in this forum somewhere...I’ve seen it.

so perhaps the driver side spring is losing its bounce to account for that 3/4” difference between driver side and passenger side. I took out the third row seat on the passenger but I can’t imagine that would account for a 3/4” rise, the seat doesn’t seem that heavy.

The truck doesn’t bottom out so when I am replacing the shocks after winter I’ll inspect the bags as wel for any leaks. My system seems to be working effectively though

what are the floor to fender flare heights supposed to be for the three positions ?

1. The measurement must be taken on a level floor.
2. The height sensors, left or right, could contribute to the uneven.

The height is measured from a suspension component to the center of the wheel....not he ground, maybe a control arm just to the front on the rear wheel?

Center of the wheel to the lip of the fender works. Eliminates tire inflation differences.

I did the measurements and there is a 3/4” difference between the drivers side and the passenger side, passenger being higher at 21 3/4”.

as the compressor and bags seem to work ok, that would lead to my sensors not being calibrated, or is this a sign of something else?
